Cisco to help Jaipur turn into smart city

In Jaipur, technology leader Cisco is investing in IoT (internet of things) to transform the metropolis into a smart city. The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) will collaborate with Cisco to develop a blueprint for smart infrastructure that will enhance efficiency and service quality for more than 3.5
million residents.

A digital infrastructure will feature connected transport, interactive kiosks, wireless broadband, safety and security services, traffic management and environmental updates, in order to improve real-time access to services like parking, lighting and water.
