A record of 1500 participants from 60 countries applied for the 2024 Green Products Awards. It demonstrated the growing importance of sustainable products and materials in shaping a more sustainable future. The increasing proportion of sustainable products and materials plays a key role in the transformation to a circular economy.
Here’s a shortlist of the winners:
- Leather alternative made of hemp fibres called LOVR™ by Revoltech GmbH
- Green Marathon, the first circular bicycle tire by Schwalbe
- Mannequins made of recycled paper by Pasqual Arnella
- Little Skittles – the noiseless bowling game for children made of cork
- Conscious Confetti a biodegradable confetti made from leftovers from edible paper production
- CUBE, a hemp-based office system from VANK
- Sustainable biocapsules that are used with drones to reforest the rainforest
In addition, public winners were chosen in a public online vote in which over 60,000 votes were cast. >> All winners.

About the Green Product Awards
Products from companies and start-ups have been honoured that stand out for their sustainability, design and impact. In parallel, the Green Concept Award, in cooperation with the IKEA Stiftung, honours students and young designers for visionary concepts, supports them with the Green Cells program, shows them at exhibitions and supports them in their further development. The awards are presented in each category for the best product from a company, a start-up and the best concept.
