Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, has called for applications for its second edition of the Schneider Electric Sustainability Impact Awards.
The second edition of the awards, a press note states, includes applications from Schneider’s partners, customers and suppliers. The selection criteria include electrification, digitization, and decarbonization in achieving sustainability goals.
The nomination opened on July 24, 2023 and closes on November 17, 2023. The global winners will be announced in April 2024. All nominations will undergo regional finals before being considered for the global award. The global winners will be unveiled in April 2024.
This year the company is adopting a more comprehensive award selection criteria. Entrants will be evaluated not only on their decarbonization efforts but also on their actions to strategize, digitize, and decarbonize, with a focus on creating an “Electricity 4.0” future. This includes endeavours to improve energy efficiency and implement digital tools and technologies.
The 2023 edition of the Sustainability Impact Awards received 241 submissions from channel partners worldwide.
