One of the best ways to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere is to capture it and turn it into useful products for mass consumption. That’s what XPRIZE Foundation is trying to promote through seventeen competitions in Space, Oceans, Learning, Health, Energy, Environment, Transportation, Safety and Robotics.

XPPRIZE’s generous prize money have led to game-changing technology for creating a more sustainable world. It uses large-scale global incentive competitions to crowdsource solutions to address world’s grand challenges.

Here’s a short list of everyday products that people consume that can be made from CO2. Vodka, building materials, yoga mats, watches, shoes, toothpaste and low-carbon fuel.
